The schools have been back for a week but we have really been struggling to get the Glow pilot going. The new tools we have been trying to pilot have been causing all sorts of problems with our network. The issues have not been with Glow but with our firewall. Access to the portal has been fine but tools such as chat and web conferencing have been causing all sorts of problems.
Accessing the tools outwith the corporate network has been fine but it has just not been working in any of our schools. IT have been working hard to try and fix the problem and we hope that the pilot schools will be able to start to use the tools properly in thew coming week.
