We spent a very enjoyable couple of hours yesterday thinking about the planning for the ICT showcase event which will take place on Febrary the 20th 2007. David Muir and Ewan McIntosh joined us as they will be the main presenters for the evening. We did a fair amount of talking around the ideas of using ICT effectively in learning and how we could encourage teachers to embrace these ideas.
The eventual upshot looks like a very exciting programme for the evening which will include a lot of audience interaction using voting systems and mobile phones as well as the presentations of the technologies that we are trying to encourage teachers to think about using.
Put the date in your diary, it’s going to be a good evening. details will be in the CPD online system before Christmas. The event will run from 7-9:30pm on the 20th of February and will be in Gleniffer High School in Paisley.
