The first ICT coordinators meeting in Renfrewshire for this session takes place on Wednesday the 27th of September at 1:30pm or 4pm in the Sir James Clark Building, Paisley.  At the meeting we shall be discussing technical issues with Phil Feeney from ICT, looking at how we can evaluate the impact of ICT in learning and hearing grom Paul Smyth of RM about developments in Glow.  If you have been watching what has been happening then you will already know a lot about glow.  This will probably be the first time that many of us get the chance to see the web portal working live.

Check back soon after the meeting for notes of the discussions we have had on the day.

It was good to see a live feed of the portal working and it certainly opens up endless possibilities for ways of working with it. I was glad to hear mention of “a revolution” because I do believe that there is a revolution in teaching happening and we as ICT Co-ordinators have to do everything within our own establishments to inspire our colleagues who are not so keen into using it. A toe in the water is better than nothing at all. Of course, time and money rear their heads again!
