Things are moving on apace. I had the chance to see a demo of the SSDN portal yesterday (although it’s not going to be called SSDN). The interface is nice a nd clean and has a lot of good customisation features. The tools which are going to be in the first version look a lot more powerful than I had thought when I first read about phase 1. I think teachers will find it genuinely attractive and will want to use it.
Our pilot schools will get the chance to see the interface early in the new session and everyone who attends SETT will certainly learn a lot about what it is going to look like!
A video is being produced which will be issued to schools in the new session. This will provide a very useful introduction to SSDN and will be a very useful way of getting awareness raised.
