Just a quick note to keep you up to date with the development of the new on-line in-service catalogue. The system went live last week with courses available from August to October at the moment. The rest will be available after the summer.
There have been some technical difficulties relating to our own filtering software, Intelliguard. This is being replaced by WebSense over the summer which should solve the problem. If you are having difficulty with the database then please be patient. These issues should by sorted by August.
Additional training opportunities are being set up for August and September. If a member of staff feels that this would be helpful then please drop me a line.
It is always difficult when you get to a point in a development where the techy bits start to get in the road of what you are trying to achieve. I just keep coming back to the fact that the new system is hugely better than the paper based system that we had.
