The SSDN implementation plan is now nearing completion! Another meeting today allowed us to discuss outstanding issues of training, technical issues and other timescale priorities. By the end of the week I should have this finsihed and ready to go. Then I will need to write the covering paper before the plan goes to the Lifelong Learning and Work Policy Board. I also need to write a training strategy paper. The model being suggested by LTS is based on the Masterclass model. We are not convinced that this will give us the best return so we are looking at developing our own model. This will involve the secondment of one or two people part time as staff tutors with a complete focus on the development of SSDN. Once I get these things finalised I shall attach them to the blog for information.
